Short introduction I am a postdoc fellow in the Statistical Information and Modelling group from the research institute EURANDOM, Eindhoven. I am working in the Statistics in Biology programme (formerly called Computational and Molecular Biology programme) under the supervision of Chris Klaassen (UvA) and Mathisca de Gunst (VU). I graduated at the University Paris XI, France, with a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics in 2003. During my PhD, I dealt with branching processes with an application to Polymerase Chain Reaction. My current research interest is in inference for regulatory networks and I am involved in the project Simulation of developmental regulatory networks the main investigators of which are Jaap Kaandorp and Joke Blom. Within this project and under the supervision of Chris Klaassen, I am particularly interested in efficient estimation of the parameters arising in the model that describes the genetic interactions taking place during animal development.
