Maksat Ashyraliyev M.Ashyraliyev@cwi.nl PhD student CWI/MAS (Modeling Analysis and Simulation) Supervisors: Joke Blom and Jan Verwer. I graduated from Turkmen State University (Turkmenistan) with Diploma (which is more or less the same as BSc+MSc) in Mathematics in 1997. My Thesis research was about Integral Inequalities and their discrete analogues. Some generalizations of Gronwall's and Wendroff's integral inequalities and their discrete analogues were obtained. In applications these results were used to obtain the stability estimates of solutions for the initial value problems for integral-differential equations of the parabolic and hyperbolic types and for the Goursat problem. I did also my MSc degree in Computational Science. I graduated from UvA in 2004. The topic of my Master thesis research was "Implicit schemes for Lattice Boltzmann Equation". In September 2004 I started my PhD project "Modelling and Simulation of Developmental Regulatory Networks" at CWI.
