Hanna Härdin I have just finished a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology at Uppsala University, Sweden. This education integrates subjects such as mathematics, cell biology, physics, chemistry, and gene technology. I have also studied an additional year of maths. Last year I spent the last six months in Grenoble, France, working with a project in modeling of genetic regulatory networks. This project was included as a part of my Molecular Biotechnology education at Uppsala University. My aim for the future is to work with mathematical modeling of molecular systems since I am interested in how molecular interactions give rise to the behaviour of entire cells and living organisms. Therefore I have applied to a PhD position in systems biology under supervision by Jan van Schuppen and Hans Westerhoff. I was brought up in Stockholm. I have been studying in Uppsala, a Swedish student town, for five years, and in Grenoble, France, for six months. I like traveling, hiking, outdoor life and reading books. I am interested in nature and different cultures.
